| Sherilyn Shackell wins Women in Marketing ‘Special Award for Contribution to Marketing’ Award |

The Chartered Institute of Marketing’s Women In Marketing Awards announces Sherilyn Shackell, Founder of The Marketing Academy, as the winner of the Special Contribution to Marketing Award 2011. Sherilyn was thrilled and honoured to win the award at a glittering ceremony held at The May Fair Hotel in London on Thursday 3rd November 2011. The Women in Marketing Awards celebrate excellence in marketing and recognise individuals who have demonstrated significant achievements in the field across the Greater London Region. Sherilyn Shackell said “It’s an incredible honour to win this award and I’m utterly delighted and humbled to be this year’s recipient. It has been a wonderful journey over the last 18 months, pulling together some the most amazing talent that the worlds of marketing, advertising and communications have to offer.
